I am Temitope Lawal
I am a blind real estate investor, broker, and legal professional who built a U.S. real estate portfolio worth over $5 million in under four years, using only my 9-to-5 income and without outside partners.
I lost my sight to glaucoma as a teenager, but I refused to let that define my limits. Instead, it sharpened my focus. I learned to see risk and opportunity through numbers, contracts, and people rather than appearances. That mindset allowed me to assemble and manage a portfolio of multifamily properties across the United States while working full-time.
My professional background is in law, financial regulation, and fintech. I have served as a financial services regulator and in-house counsel to major financial institutions and technology companies, advising on payments, consumer finance, and compliance. Because of that training, I approach every deal with a lawyer’s eye: zoning rules, lending terms, title issues, LLC structures, tax implications, and regulatory risk are not afterthoughts—they are built into the strategy from day one.
Academically, I have completed advanced legal and graduate studies that trained me to research deeply, ask hard questions, and make evidence-based decisions. I bring that same discipline to real estate: every deal is underwritten with rigor, conservative assumptions, and a clear exit strategy.
Beyond brokering and investing, I teach and offer structured training for first-time home buyers and first-time investors, breaking down the entire process—from financing and due diligence to closing and long-term portfolio planning—in a way that is practical, honest, and accessible. My goal is not just to help you buy a property, but to help you think like an owner.
On this site, I bring together my lived experience as a blind investor, my legal and regulatory expertise, and my track record of building a seven-figure portfolio from a W-2 income. My mission is simple: to help you buy, sell, and build in a way that is disciplined, transparent, and aligned with your long-term goals—not just what looks good in the moment.
